RIP Extremely sad
that being said
Didn't he run his truck off a cliff a few years ago, in a supposed "accident"?

I can't remember if it was him or not but if it is it's very Erie to think about

Yes, I recall something like that.

It's a shame...he did so much good for charity.

Obviously he had some deep demons that tormented his soul. I hope he's found his peace.

Wow... Completely in shock at the moment.....

One of my favorite players, and arguably one of the greatest linebackers to ever play the game. He was still in amazing shape, when he retired

One of the greatest to ever play his position. Couldn't watch him enough when he was in New England. Extremely sad to hear this happen to such a great guy.

It was him, he drove his truck off a 100 foot embankment and suffered only minor injuries. He claimed to have fallen asleep at the wheel. He had only hours before been arressted on a battery charge on his girlfriend.

Always seemed happy, had a great foundation set up in the San Diego area, that all said, he took a lot of collisions in 20 years, we have seen it recently in hockey, but you simply never know when the brain decides to take over.
