NEW SHIPPING POLICY - EFFECTIVE NOV 23RD, 2017

Post by Geoff » Thu Nov 23, 2017 3:49 pm

Fellow C&C members,

We have discussed this over the last month and will be making the official change starting November 23rd, 2017 on all shipments. Here is the breakdown of our new policy which should help speed things up and make everything much more secure.

1. All shipments will now be Packaged every Thursday and shipped on Friday (to ensure all release day cards arrive as fast as possible).

2. All shipments to Canada that we deem to have a sale value over $40 will be shipped with tracking at no additional cost to you.

3. All shipments to USA that we deem to have a sale value over $40 will be contacted for expedited shipping at a reduced rate of $9 (Expedited USA pacakges cost $16-$20).

If you wish to have cards shipped out on a different date all you have to do is contact us and we will give you a quote for expedited shipping.

We want to make sure everyone's cards arrive safely so we feel this change is for the better. Please feel free to ask if you have any further questions.

Please note - we are currently working on a brand new back end system for our breakers who get shut outs. There will be a new shut out process going forward from Dec 1st, 2017 which should be ready to go by March/April 2018. Please be patient in the new process but it will be great.

If shipping out on a Friday won’t that mean the cards will sit in a sorting centre for the whole weekend?

Zimms,

We have always packaged Thursday and shipped Friday so it was the same as before but most will now be tracked which should be faster. The issue with doing it earlier in the week is if we did it Monday Tuesday or Wednesday that would mean when a new release gets opened Wednesday night it would not move until 6-7 days after which in our opinion would not be beneficial to any of our members.

Hey Geoff just had a quick question/request on shipping & packing. If it isn't too much work (printing and packing for multiple people can get out of hand :/) Would you guys be able to include a list of the breaks/break numbers that are being packed in a shipment? Helps to know which breaks are coming in if we haven't seen the entire break on YT, especially when multiple breaks are packaged and shipped together.

I agree also. I only just started keeping a spreadsheet of every break I'm in to keep track but anything at all would be helpful. Even if just the break # written on the envelope... that would more that suffice.

In addition, posting the YouTube URLs in the threads would be really helpful too.

One more suggestion... make the break # the first part of the YouTube video title. On mobile, the titles get cut off so I have to select each one trying to find the right one.
